Is the foam used safe for gas detectors?

I have heard that some foam is not safe for the storage of gas detectors, is this correct?

Yes, the foam in this case is safe for gas detectors. We have gas detectors that have been stored in them for years with no adverse issues. Adhesives are another story and you should be very careful about using a new adhesive inside a case with a gas detector.
