We recommend bump testing your gas detector every day. Especially before using your gas detector in the field. Sensors can stop working at any time unexpectedly so it is best practice to test your gas detectors with calibration gas. It is also a requirement by OSHA so make sure you are also data logging your bump tests and calibrations for each detector you own.
